DI-MISC-80043, DATA ITEM DESCRIPTION: AMMUNITION DATA CARD (05 AUG 1985)., The Ammunition Data Card is used to acquire a record containing essential data pertaining to the initial history of a lot of ammunition and-explosive material or, in certain instances, of a serially numbered complete round guided missile which contains all required data pertaining to each lot of the item. The data card is used to provide traceability of explosive items. The data contained in this DID is required by MIL-STD-1168. This DID supersedes DI-D-2001 and DI-L-1410.
